Srinagar, May 20 (KNO): A fire broke out in the densely populated Nareara Dangerpora area at Eidgah in Srinagar’s old city late Tuesday evening, officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
They said within minutes fire tenders from the Fire and Emergency Department were pressed into the rescue operation.
He said fire tenders from Sakidafar, S.H. Pora, Headquarters, Babdemb, and Nowshera reached the spot after receiving a fire call.
“As per initial reports, four to five houses have been affected. The operation is underway,” the official said—(KNO)
